The College of Fine and Applied Arts Academic Advising Committee has created a comprehensive academic advising handbook for students, staff, and faculty. The advising handbook is updated yearly and is meant to be a guide for best advising practices, provide instruction on how to begin the advising journey in the college at Appalachian State University, as well as raise awareness of campus resources.
Furthermore, the academic advising handbook includes information regarding academic policies, department specific information, working with student populations, and information as to how advising processes occur within the college and university.
