App State Public Relations alumna Jordan Rogers has been named a 2026 Triad Business Journal 40 Under 40 Leader, recognized for her rising influence in public affairs, advocacy, and broadband equity.
As a student, Jordan was an ACCESS Scholar, a Goodwin Meissner Family Foundation and SECU Scholarship recipient, an ACCESS SOUL, President of Alpha Phi, and a dedicated four‑year student employee in the Office of International Education and Development. Her time at App State created a foundation for a career defined by service, global perspective, and strategic communication.
After graduating, Jordan put her PR training to work around the world by supporting sea turtle and coral reef conservation in Africa and Hawaii, strengthening messaging for drug and alcohol recovery centers in North Carolina, and advancing oral health information campaigns in South Carolina. Each role deepened her commitment to communication as a tool for public good.
Today, Jordan serves as Director of Relationship Marketing for the North Carolina Telehealth Network Association, where she uses communication strategy to expand broadband access for healthcare providers. Over the past year, she has collaborated with national coalitions on advocacy tied to the FCC’s Universal Service Fund, coordinated an amicus brief strategy, and led press and messaging efforts connected to a U.S. Supreme Court case — a case that ultimately protected $8 billion in broadband funding for schools, libraries, and healthcare nationwide.
Jordan says seeing how a Communication degree can shape national policy and patient access to care has been “powerful and humbling.” She aims to give back to App through mentorship, student panels, and supporting internship pathways, and is eager to help showcase the diverse, dynamic careers available to App State communicators.
Congratulations, Jordan!
