It's that time of year again! The Solar Tree Lighting (hosted by AppState STBE's Solar Club) will be this Friday around 6:30pm at the Jones House Community center, in downtown Boone next to Mast General Store. It's a tradition that goes back over 20 years, in which a large evergreen is lit by solar power plus battery storage. Come check it out, support Appalachian State University's Sustainable Technology and the Built Environment's Solar Club, and enjoy Festive First Friday in downtown Boone!
