In December 2016, 709 Fine and Applied Arts undergraduate majors were named to the Dean's List and 222 to the Chancellor's List. In order to be named to the Dean's List, a student must carry 12-14 hours of coursework and earn a grade point average of 3.45 or better, or carry 15 semester hours or more and earn a grade point average of 3.25 or better. To be named to the Chancellor's List, a student must acheive a grade point average of 3.85 or higher while carrying 12 semester hours or more of graded work.
