The Appalachian Musical Theatre Ensemble (AMTE) at Appalachian State University will present the Olivier Award-winning “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” adapted from the hit comedy film, Nov. 12 –13.  Performances will be offered at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. both days in the Varsity Gym Dance Studio (room 208) on campus. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults.

“Legally Blonde: The Musical” tells the story of Elle Woods, a perky sorority sister who enrolls at Harvard Law School in an attempt to win back her boyfriend. The journey to winning his love, however, leads Elle to discover her passion for helping others and the importance of staying true to yourself. Fast-paced and witty, the musical is equally loaded with hilarity and important lessons.
