WASU Alumni Takeover Day

Has WASU 90.5 FM turned into a Classic Rock station? Is it throwback day? Are you wondering what's going on with your favorite college radio station?

It's time for the annual fundraiser to provide support for the operation of WASU-FM, Appalachian State's student-run radio station.

On Takeover Day, guest DJs from years past return and "take over" the station, playing favorite songs from their time at Appalachian, sharing stories and giving back by making a donation to the station.

You can join the fun, and help by contributing to the WASU fund! The WASU fund can be used to help buy equipment for the station and promotional items to support live remotes, and promote the station's listenership.
