Visiting Artist Ed Woodham
Ed Woodham, who teaches at the School of Visual Art in New York City and at New York University’s Hemispheric Institute’s EMERGENYC, visited Appalachian State University three times during the 2016-17 year as a guest of the Department of Art and Smith Gallery. Under his guidance, art students and faculty partnered with community groups to plan and host the High Country Spring Procession, a celebration of springtime and life in Boone. While on campus, Woodham also facilitated workshops and taught courses for students and the public.
