Drop Policy
Students seeking to drop a course after they have used all four 
career drops or after the 9th week of the semester
Grade Forgiveness

If a student repeats a course and does not want the course
automatically processed as a grade exclusion 
Special Course FormMust be completed when a student is registering for individual study, study abroad, technical assistance or thesis/dissertation.

Independent StudyStudents seeking to take a course that is not available in the regular
curriculum.

faculty member’s project under the direction of the faculty member.

Students seeking to drop a linked course (lab or lecture) after the
initial drop/add period, switching sections due to an administrative
adjustment or switching levels of the same discipline
(i.e., dropping ART 2030 to add ART 2130)
