Junior advertising major, Sarah Hostyk, won second place in the Nov. 6 “Pitch Your Idea in 90 Seconds” contest, sponsored by 3tailer of Charlotte and Magic Cycles of Boone, and coordinated by the Center for Entrepreneurship.

Monica Pombo named assistant chair of Department of Communication

Larry Taylor honored for exemplary leadership, selected to speak

Larry Taylor, faculty member in the Department of Communication, was honored by the Ashe County School Board for Exemplary Leadership.
