Education:
Training in Chen style Tai chi chuan includes study with Master's 
Yang Yang, Wang Hai Jun, and Zhang Xue Xin as well as Sifu Justin 
Meehan of the St. Louis Chinese Internal Arts Center. Received 
instructor certificate from the St. Louis Chinese Internal Arts 
Center in 2000. Doctoral level education in Family and Child 
Development completed at Virginia Tech in 1993.
Teaching Specialties:
Full time teaching responsibilities in the Department of Human 
Development and Psychological Counseling in marriage and family 
therapy and expressive arts. Special focus on mind-body 
interventions.
Current Courses Being Taught:
Course taught in HLES is PE 1748 Beginning Tai Chi Chuan
Research Interests:
Development of mindfulness through mind-body practices.
